The optimal season for tidepooling is Dec.-Mar. when minus tides reveal wider beaches and tide pools teeming with life. During those months, you can sign up for a Tidepooling Adventure where trained naturalists will show you how to tread lightly during your visit and help you discover the wonderful world of tide pools. For ages 2+ (tickets required). Under 15 must be accompanied by a paid adult.  Tidepooling Adventures do not meet at Birch Aquarium. Sat. & Sun. Event details.
