You might be ready for some football — hello, Super Bowl Sunday! — but that doesn’t mean the kids want to be stuck indoors all weekend. However, we get it. Super Bowl Sunday might mean you’re off the grid, so we’re sharing some of San Diego’s activities for kids that take place on Saturday.

Take the day to get outdoors and expend some energy in anticipation of a laid back Sunday (or maybe not, depending on how much of a football fan you are). Have you taken your kids Tidepooling lately? This is the perfect time of year for tidepooling because the minus tides mean wider beaches, so join up with the experts from Birch Aquarium for a fun and educational experience. We also found other fun activities, like a Chinese New Year celebration, just in case you missed out last weekend, or an afternoon with Cinderella.
