With the weather in the 70’s this weekend, it’s time to take the entire fam out to play. For this weekend we dug up a ton of fun family-friendly activities that will keep you and your little ones entertained all weekend long. From creative finger-painting to a Beatles Tribute Concert to the First Annual San Diego Youth Sports Festival, your weekend has the potential to be jam-packed with fun and smiles!
Finger Painting Frenzy
Take your little Picassos and Monets to get creative at the Carlsbad Children’s Museum where they can create their very own finger painting work of art. Beatles Tribute Concert
“Help I need somebody, help not just anybody, help you know I need someone, help…” C’mon and sing along, we know you know the words! This week’s summer concert series at Point Loma Park is a tribute to the Beatles. Pack up the family and bring along your own seating or picnic blanket, some munchies, and of course, your vocal cords. Fri., 5:30 pm – 8:30 pm. Point Loma. Free. All ages. Event details.
It’s a bird, it’s a plane, it’s…superhero jam! Pack up the fam and head on over to the New Children’s Museum, which is getting into the spirit of comic festivities. This super duper celebration includes music, dance, and special performances. Be sure to dress your kiddos in their favorite superhero costume to enjoy free admission. Sat., 10:00 am – 4:00 pm. San Diego. Free with admission. All ages. Event details.

Sun., 4:00 pm – 5: 30 pm. Free. All ages. Event details.
San Diego Youth Sports Festival
Temps hovering in the low 70’s this weekend means that it’s the perfect weather to usher the kiddos outside to play.
