Laguna Beach Sawdust Art Festival 
Hit the road and head up to Laguna Beach to enjoy the Sawdust Art Festival. More than 200 artists and makers share their work in an eclectic handcrafted outdoor village located in the heart of Laguna Canyon. Visitors are invited to shop unique artwork in a wide range of media and enjoy live music on three stages, roaming entertainment, daily art demonstrations and a variety of food and drink offerings. San Diego Free Youth Community Carnival
Nothing says summer like a community carnival! San Diego Community Assist, a 501c3 charity, is hosting a Free Youth Community Carnival at the Jacobs Center. SDCA is throwing this free family event to relieve stress on children and parents living in poverty while raising funds for better education and success.  There will be plenty of FREE carnival rides, games, food trucks, and vendors from the local area. Entertainment is scheduled from 12 p.m to 2:30 p.m and 4 p.m to 5 p.m. Sat. Event details

Movie in the Park: Onward
Enjoy a FREE family-friendly movie under the stars! Movies will be shown on a giant, cinema-quality screen. A free, family-fun recreation area opens at 6:30 p.m. Bring your favorite snacks or a picnic dinner; food will NOT be available for purchase. Parking at Community Park is free but can fill up fast; come early and get a good seat! Movies will start 15 minutes after sunset. Sat. Event details. 

Make It Yourself
Class activities span visual art, dance, and writing and offer the opportunity for participants to engage in a planned, curated activity or to simply pick up pen and paper and create without a plan. These classes are truly multi-generational. All ages and all abilities are welcome. Classes are held outside in the garden. Sat. Event details. 

Cabaret in the Courtyard: The Music of Disney
Get ready for a summer highlight! Walt Disney has been behind some of the most memorable films of all time, and some of the longest-running Broadway musicals too.
