Stagecoach Days
Old Town San Diego State Historic Park celebrates travel and transportation in the era of real horsepower at Stagecoach Days. Each Saturday through August will focus on a different aspect of early San Diego history with kids’ activities, historic craft & trade demonstrations, cannon and anvil firings, living history activities, and more. This weekend’s theme is Trades That Shaped the West. Sat., 12 – 4 p.m., Old Town, Free. All ages. Event details.

Banana Split Day

Catamaran Summer Luau

Family Fringe Day
Fringe Artists, local dance companies, local artists, and more, will come together at Westfield Horton Plaza to provide our community with a free day of Family Fringe Events as part of the San Diego International Fringe Festival. Family Fringe Day events include musical theater and dance workshops, creative writing classes, interactive art mural and fairytale show, Dr. Seuss and Shel Silversein readings, a circus show and much more. Writing with Pictures
Writing With Pictures is a multi-media exhibition that tells the story behind the creation of the picture book: why we love them, and their widening audience and role in the 21st century. This exhibition features original published artwork from local illustrators, and from artists working with local writers. Watermelon Days
