Home Grown Fun
Home Grown Fun is presented by the San Diego County Fair. Smaller in scale than the fair and limited in attendance, Home Grown Fun will offer a taste of your fair favorites–including shopping, food concessionaires, a Ferris wheel and carousel, agricultural-themed exhibits, demonstrations, contests and “edu-tainment” designed to educate and delight families looking to get outside for some real-life, in-person and down-home fun. Pride by the Beach
Part of San Diego’s Pride month celebration, families can tune in virtually to see the Equity Torch as it’s carried by social justice supporters across the cities of Encinitas, Carlsbad, Oceanside, Escondido, Vista, San Marcos and Camp Pendleton. Together we will inspire the world as we raise awareness of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender community who embody our community’s rich history of courage, spirit, achievement, and activism. Drive-Thru Wildfire Safety Fair
Fire season is around the corner and SDG&E wants you and your loved ones to remain safe. Learn what you can do to protect your family and property. You’ll receive information about stocking an emergency kit, developing an emergency plan and designing or modifying the space around your home to resist wildfire and more. Preparedness backpacks will be provided on a first come, first served basis while supplies last. Admission is free and includes displays, information, music, fresh kettle corn and drinks while in the comfort of your car. Sat. Event details.

Cinema Under the Stars
It doesn’t have to be a rainy evening to enjoy this classic song and dance film with the kids. Cinema Under the Stars presents Singing in the Rain. Run time is 103 minutes. Show starts at 8 p.m. but the doors open at 6 p.m. Concessions available. Fri.-Sun. Event details.

San Diego Food Market
Visit one of the most family-friendly weekly street food gatherings in town. Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland
Join Trinity Theatre’s storytime team for this online presentation of Alice in Wonderland. This initiative is an effort to maintain social distancing, while providing arts to our local community. Based on the original Lewis Carroll novel, the story follows Alice, a young girl, in her many adventures through Wonderland. Sun. Event details.
