Sign your little comedian up for online comedy camp. Teachers will work with young improvisers to help enhance their ability to communicate with others and develop confidence in their own creativity, all while working as part of an ensemble. No previous experience required. Camps end with a virtual show where the students show off what they’ve learned. Fri. Times vary.

Get Your San Diego Fair Food Fix
Four Fair food stands are serving up snacks at the Del Mar Fairgrounds. A Roxy’s artichoke sandwich (all those veggies and melted mozzarella!), a classic corn dog, and funnel cake and ice cream for dessert! Don’t forget to pick up some Kettle Corn – Copper Kettle pops up the most delightful combination of sweet & salty treats. Upsize to the large…your friends will thank you for it! Enter through Solana Gate; this is a drive-thru experience, so you’ll order from your car. See food menus here so you know what you want to order before you go! Fri. & Sat. noon-6 p.m.

March to the Beat of Your Own Drum
Join Bongo Sidibe for a family drum class. Don’t have a drum at home? Get creative! You can use a bucket, a table, a bowl, or make your own! This is fun for the whole family. Class is donation-based, with a suggested donation of $10-$20. Donate via Venmo @Duniya-Dance. Fri. 3-3:30 p.m.

Join in a LEGO Spectacular
Chicago-based Brickworld LEGO Expo announces the Brickworld LEGO Fireworks Virtual Con. The Fireworks Virtual Con will present an online array of LEGO activities for all ages, featuring exhibits, presentations, builds, games and vendors in a suite of Zoom rooms, including interactions with popular “LEGO Masters” TV contestants and fan favorite displays like the Great Ball Contraption, and, of course, LEGO fireworks! Tickets are $9, with $1 from each ticket donated to Brickworld’s longtime charity partner Make-A-Wish. Only 2,000 tickets will be offered worldwide, so early registration is encouraged. Sat. starts at 9 a.m.

MOHAI Fire Day
Celebrate the 131st anniversary of the Great Seattle Fire with MOHAI and the Seattle Fire Department. Your young firefighters-in-training will love learning fire safety tips, making crafts at home, participating in online story time with a real Seattle firefighter and watching other fun videos! Seattle Fire Chief Scoggins will kick off the event’s live portion by conducting the first story time and Q&A at 10 a.m. You’ll find the full schedule and links to participate here on Jun. 27.

Spend Saturday with Daffy Dave
Daffy Dave is back for more funny magic, slapstick juggling and silly songs for the whole family––new tricks and funny songs included! Dave will entertain you with his show until 4:30 and then you will have time after the show to mix it up with him, showing off your pets, toys, or anything fun and funny you’re doing at home.
