Junior Nature Ranger
Share family time while connecting with nature! Docents lead kids through a series of activities allowing them to experience nature while having fun in the outdoors. Albion Soccer Club vs. Temecula SC
Cheer on San Diego’s own Albion Soccer Club as they play a home game against Temecula SC. This year, the team will donate at least $1 of every ticket sold to a local San Diego-based nonprofit organization. One partner will be selected for each game. Bodhi Tree Concerts presents Music en la Calle, a new, free music festival and street fair for the San Diego community. At Summer Sundays at Village Walk you can catch a different beat from live music performances and cruise a different car club every week. Father’s Day Sail: BRATS & Beer
Set sail with dad on an epic Father’s Day adventure. The Maritime Museum of San Diego invites you to climb aboard the Californian or San Salvadorfor a special voyage in honor of dad’s day. Before you venture out to sea, from 10-11:30 a.m. dad will dine on a bratwurst sandwich, chips and beer while the kids eat hot dogs. Then the 3 hour sailing trip begins boarding at 11:30 a.m. and returns at 3 p.m. The museum’s experienced crew will make your Father’s Day celebration unforgettable while working the lines and handling the sails as you sail around the beautiful calm waters of San Diego Bay. Pacific Electric Weekend & Father’s Day BBQ
Ride into the past on the Big Red Cars of the Pacific Electric Railway with a full parade and display of the Pacific Electric Railway collection. This is a great way to spend Father’s Day weekend––enjoy a BBQ lunch ($14 for ages 12 & up and $8 for ages 2 – 11) with an all-day ride pass for train and trolley rides. Ages 4 and under are free. Day of the Dad
Searching for the perfect way to spend Father’s Day? The Village at Pacific Highlands Ranch is doing it up this Father’s Day with an event that honors all dads! The Mint Studio DIY craft terrace will be set up in the Village Square, where loved ones can choose to make exciting gifts for dad such as custom wood-burnished grill boards, hand-stamped metal and leather items, personalized aprons and oven/grill mitts, plus a handsome variety of wood signs. Take your pick of your gift and enjoy a crafting session. As for eats and drinks, restaurants in The Village will provide a celebratory selection of $5 tastings for dads. He is invited to sample bourbon from Westroot, sake at Wokou, tequila at Casa Rustica, and frosty beer compliments of the new Breakfast Republic to help dad feel on top.
