The San Diego County Fair kicks off this weekend, which is always a fun event for the family. Climb the walls at Mesa Rim’s Anniversary Party. Be a fighter pilot at the Open Cockpit Days. This family-friendly event will showcase an array of artists, musicians, outrageous street performers, and interactive installations. Mesa Rim Climbing Anniversary Party

Open Cockpit Days

International Children’s Day Celebration
International Children’s Day is a holiday that isn’t well recognized in the United States, but should be. It’s not only about celebrating kids, but also brings awareness to the plight of many of the world’s youth. There will be arts and crafts stations, panda painting, coloring contests, storytelling, refreshments, music, and more here in SDCHM’s garden! The Gaslamp Museum is also going to have an array of kids’ activities! Sat., 12 – 3 p.m., San Diego Chinese Historical Museum, Free/kids ($5/adults). All ages. Event details.
San Diego Children’s Choir Spring Concert

San Diego County Fair
The 2016 San Diego County Fair promises a summer of fun! The San Diego County Fair runs June 3 – July 4 (closed Mondays and the first two Tuesdays) and is the largest annual event in San Diego County and the fourth largest fair in North America. Fri. – Sun., times vary, Del Mar Fairgrounds, $8 – $14 (kids 5 and under free). All ages. Event details.
Family Fun Day at San Elijo Lagoon: Nesting Birds

RB Alive! Street Fair
Enjoy a full day of entertainment and enjoyment with more than 300 booths. Health exhibitors will provide screenings and information regarding their facilities. Visitors can browse the arts and crafts booths, get information from regional and local businesses, service clubs and religious organizations and partake in tasty treats and meals from food vendors.
