The San Diego County Fair kicks off this weekend, which is always a fun event for the family. Take part in the UC San Diego Junior Triton 5K Fun Run. Enjoy some barbecue and music at the San Marcos Rock, Blues and BBQ Festival. Or celebrate Art Around Adams. Have a great weekend!

The 2015 San Diego County Fair promises a summer of fun! This year’s theme is “A Fair to Remember” Fri. – Sun., Times vary by day, Del Mar Fairgrounds, $8 – $14/person (kids 5 and under free). All ages. Event details.

Art Around Adams
This family-friendly event will showcase an array of artists, musicians, outrageous street performers, and interactive installations. Enjoy art and music from more than 50 bands and local businesses that will transform themselves into art galleries and performance arenas for the day. Sat., 12 – 8 p.m., Adams Ave., Free. Pachis Open House and Kids Art Night
Join Pachis, an art studio for kids, located in Liberty Station on Friday, June 5 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm for an open house and kids art night. Kids of all ages welcome with parents supervision. Free kiddo/parent art activities, gift certificates giveaways for summer art camp and more. Learn about summer art camp, after-school art classes, birthday parties and Pachis in your school. San Marcos Rock, Blues and BBQ Festival
This family-frienldy event includes nine bands, BBQ vendors, entertainment, and lots more. Fri. – Sat., Times vary by day, Walnut Grove Park, $5 – $20/person. All ages. Event details.

UCSD Triton 5K Kids Run
Support UC San Diego and enjoy this kid-friendly short course following the Triton 5K. At the Kids Fun Run, every Triton-In-Training is a winner and receives a finisher medal. The day also includes a healthy-living festival featuring live music and hands-on activities for kids of all ages. Orange County

Family Fun and Wellness Fair
The 5th Annual, Good To Go From Head To Toe Family Fun & Wellness Fair will feature free health screenings and checkups while families enjoy good food, live music, and informative offerings from the exhibitors. Last year the fair saw over 1,500 visitors and completed over 2,000 free health screenings! Kiddos who complete three screenings, get a FREE Pretend City ticket!
