Fiesta del Sol
The Fiesta del Sol features a special area just for kids with rides, games and hands-on activities. Favorite destinations include the hair salon and face painter. The climbing wall is always a big hit. Bounce houses, arts & crafts and other fun activites designed especially for kiddos. The main stage showcases kid’s dance groups, musicians and martial arts exhibitions. Sat. and Sun., 9 a.m. – 9 p.m., Fletcher Cove, Solana Beach, Free. Mira Mesa’s Got Talent

Free Play Saturday
The last Saturday of every month LinderKids is partnering up with Team RWB San Diego to have a Free Play Saturday open to kids of all ages! This is a great opportunity for kids to learn about CrossFit and the importance of exercise. Parents this is an easy and free way for your kids to burn lots of energy so you can have a relaxing Saturday! Your kids will participate in games as well as learn CrossFit movements. Hullabaloo on the Waterfront
Come out and enjoy everyone’s favorite family band, Hullabaloo, as they perform a free family music concert at San Diego Waterfront Park. The concert is the first in the summer concert series, and will include lawn games and activities for the kids, food trucks and more. Spring Camping in Poway
Set up your tent and explore the park at your own pace. Hike the many trails; drop a line to catch a fish; cruise the lake on a motorboat; or simply relax by your campsite and enjoy all the natural beauty that Lake Poway offers. Touch a Truck
At Touch A Truck San Diego, the county’s largest fundraising event benefiting kid’s cancer research, you’ll find military and emergency response vehicles, race cars, motorcycles and off-road trucks, construction vehicles of all types, classic cars and trash trucks… even a stage coach and helicopter. The vehicles are open for you to climb in the driver’s seat, honk the horn and meet the men and women who drive them every day. Sun., 10 a.m. – 2 p.m., Canyon Crest Academy, $5-$30/person. Flag Day Parade
Dress up in red, white and blue and celebrate Flag Day at the City of La Mesa’s Flag Day Parade. The parade begins at 10 a.m. and marches through downtown La Mesa Village.
