Skating by the Sea
Skating by the Sea® returns to Hotel del Coronado this holiday season. This spectacular ice rink is located seaside on Windsor Lawn and features stunning views of the Pacific and Coronado beach. The Del’s iconic Victorian Building, adorned with thousands of white lights, provides a magical backdrop as holiday music fills the air and guests enjoy hot chocolate and libations. Fri.-Sun. Mission Bay

SoCal Turkey Paddle 2018
Burn off that pumpkin pie and come paddle at the SoCal Turkey Paddle featuring 3 courses to choose from: a 5k, relay race, and obstacle course. Whether you want to paddle for fun or paddle your tail off on any of the 3 courses, everyone will have a blast! This after Thanksgiving event is not only fun, but all proceeds benefit the San Diego State University Aztec Adaptive Sports Program. Sat. Event details.


Holidays at LEGOLAND
This is the time of year when LEGOLAND is brimming with holiday cheer! Enjoy festive entertainment and décor. Your whole family will feel the holiday spirit when they see the 30-foot LEGO® Christmas tree trimmed with awesome LEGO ornaments as it sparkles each night with music and light. This year’s activities include a new holiday light show, LEGO® Holiday character meet and greets at the brand new Holiday Village, special holiday treats and food offerings including peppermint shakes, Nutella and peppermint crepes and Fun Town’s Holiday Market on December 1, 8, 15, 22, 26-30 with limited time food offerings. The Lighting of The Forum & Santa Arrival
The holiday season officially gets underway with “The Lighting of the Forum” — a festive evening of fun for the whole family at The Forum Carlsbad. The 16th Annual “Lighting of the Forum” will include a live stage show featuring “Upstream” — Holiday music with a Caribbean sound from 6-7 p.m., Santa’s Grand Arrival at 7:20 p.m. and Holiday Light Show and Magical Snowfall just after Santa flips the switch to light the tree. Complimentary refreshments will be served after the tree lighting provided by some of the restaurants at The Forum Carlsbad. Prize drawings, held after the tree lighting and throughout the rest of the evening, will give guests the chance to get a jump on their holiday shopping or just to treat themselves! Sat. Seaport Village

Surfin’ Santa at Seaport Village
While most of the country is getting ready to break out the scarves and mittens for the winter, San Diegans get to celebrate the holidays with sand and sunshine. Sporting board shorts and his favorite Hawaiian shirt, Santa will arrive at the San Diego Harbor via watercraft on Sat., Nov. 24th.  Visitors and locals can enjoy the California sun as Santa arrives from the ocean to a festive parade and takes pictures with fans on his 6-foot wave and surfboard. Oasis Camel Dairy’s Pomegranate Days Festival
The 9th Annual Pomegranate Days at the Oasis Camel Dairy is an experience you will enjoy and talk about all next year! Don’t miss performances by the famous Russel Bros Family as you sit snuggled up under the colorful Big Top while astonishing juggling, balancing magic and more whirl and astound. (Two performances daily). And from their unique family farm to you; the Wild West Turkey Stampede featuring their famous pardoned turkeys is just about the most gut busting hilarious fun you will ever see. Country Christmas Tree Lighting
