If the weekend had a theme, this one would be all pumpkins, all the time! Head to Suzie’s Farm for the annual Pumpkin Palooza event on the farm. Participate in the Pumpkin Plunge at Alga Norte Community Park, or enjoy breakfast with your littlest pumpkin at the San Marcos Community Center. GI Film Festival San Diego Movie Night
GI Film Festival San Diego’s Family Movie Night will present a family-friendly film screening of “Max” at the USS Midway Museum. This film documents the heartfelt story of a marine’s family and his service dog Max. Eureka! Grand Opening
Join The New Children’s Museum for the grand opening of Eureka!, an all-new exhibition that encourages visitors to discover California through the imagination of artists and explore the power of creative thinking. 29th Annual Carnival and Craft Fair
Families come enjoy the carnival at the 29th Annual Craft Fair. There will be crafts for kids and small prizes for all. Costumes are encouraged! There is always so much to do for the entire family. This fun fair has everything with music, dance, sports demos, games, cooking classes, plus so much more. Come jump for Joy at Seaside Center for Spiritual Living! Enjoy an upbeat, fun filled experience at Seaside Center when the USA Jumpstars visit and offer free lessons to kids. Kids will learn basic and intermediate jump rope skills and the afternoon will be punctuated by a performance featuring all the new jumpers as well as by the award winning team from USA Jumpstars! American Girl Cooking Demo and Book Signing
Williams-Sonoma hosts a special baking demo and cookbook signing to celebrate the product launch of Williams-Sonoma for American Girl. Join Williams-Sonoma Director of Culinary Amanda Haas, and actress Olivia Rodrigo, star of the American Girl movie, “Grace Stirs Up Success,” at this exclusive event as they make madeleines just for you! Amanda and Olivia will bake together and take questions from the audience with cookbook signing to follow. All guests will receive a copy of the American Girl DVD.
