This weekend is full of so many fun events in San Diego that you won’t know where to begin. So we’ll help! Disney Live is back for two shows on Friday. Head to the San Diego Children’s Discovery Museum for a day with Martha Speaks and KPBS. Celebrate Mexican Independence Day with fun activities at Fiesta Patrias in Old Town. Disney Live! Three Classic Fairytales

KPBS Kids Featuring Martha Speaks
Join San Diego Children’s Discovery Museum and KPBS for a special kids presentation featuring lessons from Martha Speaks. Poetry is music to our ears! Take a try at writing your own poem which we will turn into a group musical performance. Play with language and musical instruments and take home your own sheet music. Enjoy some Greek culture at the annual Festival featuring traditional Greek cuisine, church tours, music and dancing, a live auction, a marketplace, and kids’ activities. Military, Fire and Law Appreciation Day at Wave Waterpark

Kids Care Fest
Kids of all ages take the spotlight at this annual event that offers free health care screenings (hearing, vision and dental) for ages 11 and under. Morning of Remembrance
On this anniversary of 9/11, Pretend City will offer a way for your family to honor the lives that were lost and the community heroes who gave so much to our country. Tall Ships Festival and Sails
Enjoy ships galore at the largest annual gathering of tallships on the West Coast. This festival features a spectacular array of family-fun activities including live music, art shows and a variety of tasty food. Interactive living-history encampments including blacksmiths, scrimshaw artists, and the infamous Port Royal Privateers are sure to entertain and amaze guests of all ages and are not to be missed.
