Are you ready to enjoy the last weekend of September before it’s all pumpkins, witches, ghosts and goblins? Luckily there is lots to do with different events throughout the county. Bring the family to Point Loma for the Cabrillo Festival. Head north to the Oceanside Harbor Days and Vista Viking Festival. The every-popular Farm Education Day takes place during opening weekend at the Bates Nut Farm pumpkin patch. There’s also Bonitafest in South Bay and Trolley Dances in East County.

Cabrillo Festival

Bates Nut Farm Education Day
Take the family to Bates Nut Farm for the Farm Education and Scout Day at the famous pumpkin patch. Learn about the life of a pumpkin along with 25 agriculture educators. Vista Viking Festival
Bring the family for a day of entertainment on two stages by musical performers and acts. Oktoberfest El Cajon

Trolley Dances
The 14th Annual Trolley Dances is a one-of-kind ride to see site-specific dance. Two-hour tours leave every hour from 10 am – 3 pm. See dance set in unexpected places as your family hops aboard and travels through six stop along the MTS line featuring site-specific dance New work to be performed by 50 of San Diego’s most adventurous dancers! Featuring choreography by Jean Isaacs, Monica Bill Barnes, Joe Alter, Greg Sample. As an added twist, this year’s event will feature WillyGood, a French circus duo featuring Natalie Good, a former high school champion gymnast from La Mesa. St. John of the Cross Fall Festival
