If your New Year’s resolution was to get out and experience more of Southern California with the kiddos, then start this weekend with events in Balboa Park, downtown San Diego, or Orange County. Kids can learn about being a police pal at Pretend City; design and build a food truck at the New Children’s Museum; get crafty at Lakeshore; or listen to youth musicians in Balboa Park.
