Winter Sailor’s Days
Come aboard and join the fun! There are lots of things to do, including a scavenger hunt with prize, making brass rubbings, ferryboat steam engine demos, exploring the ships, sail raising, rope making, knot tying, rowing and more. Santa’s Coming Arts and Crafts Fair
Bates Nut Farm will host its annual “Santa’s Coming!” Arts ‘n Craft Fair over Thanksgiving weekend. Over 80 artisans will be selling a variety of handmade crafts and fine art. Lots of activities and fun for kiddos too! Fri. – Sun., 9 am – 5 pm, Bates Nut Farm, Free. All ages. Event details.
Have a Rancho Christmas
Rancho Guajome Adobe will once again ring in the holidays with a merry family festival with handmade decorations that transform the historic Adobe into an old-fashioned Christmas. Families can also enjoy Native American storytelling and a period fashion show or hop aboard a tractor-drawn wagon. On Saturday evening only, guests can stick around until 5 pm for caroling and apple cider in the courtyard. Jingle Bell Jump

Get Stoked for Saturday Science
Learn how to use a simple soil sensor and data logger to test the soil and water before planting our seeds. Then, we’ll learn all about the flora and fauna within the Carmel Mountain Preserve as we take a short park-ranger-led nature walk; before leaving, we’ll take a 15-minute art break and paint our beautiful surroundings! Celebrate Hanukkah at Pretend City
Come and learn more about many of the symbols associated with Hanukah. Through engaging activities that are sure to have your little ones delighted while wanting to learn more about this special holiday. Activities include creating an edible menorah; dancing to Lots of Latkes, games of dreidel, and an art studio where kids can create their own Star of David. Santa Arrives Parade
Here comes Santa Claus! He’s making his way to the Anaheim Town Square for photos and visiting with kiddos. You can also enjoy a real snow play area, kids craft activities, face pairing, balloon artists, and train rides. Fri., 12-3 pm, Anaheim Town Square, Free, All ages. Event details.
Celebrate both Hanukkah and Thanksgiving for the first time since 1888! Temple Beth El presents an exciting celebration that will include Hanukkah fun for fall ages, Shabbat dinner, and candle lighting. Reservations required for dinner. Chill on the Queen Mary
