Old Town San Diego State Historic Park celebrates travel and transportation in the era of real horsepower at Stagecoach Days. Bring the family to any Home Depotfor a workshop especially for kids. Young construction workers will make anything from toolboxes to fire trucks to a window birdhouse and bughouse. TGIF Jazz in the Park

Bring the kiddos to Java Mama and drink coffee, read the paper and relax while the young ones dance and sing to live children’s music. Head on over to San Elijo Lagoon Nature Center for some nature-themed crafts and activities. The whole family will enjoy exploring the Nature Center exhibits and the family-friendly loop trail. Sawdust Art Festival
If you’re in Laguna Beach, enjoy one of the highlights of the community with the Sawdust Art Festival. The festival features the fine art and craft of over 200 Laguna Beach artists.
