1. Rancho Bernardo Inn

Come to the main ballroom for the traditional Thanksgiving buffet and stay for the petting zoo and pony rides. You’ll love eating your favorite traditional dishes, your little pilgrims will dig into the kid’s buffet. Call early—this event sells out.

2. San Diego Zoo
Come and walk with the elephants then eat out at the Treetops buffet. Celebrate the Zoo’s 100th Anniversary with your family on this special day. If you’d rather a sit-down dinner with a waterfall view, Albert’s is also serving a three-course feast. What could be better than little zookeepers saying goodnight to the orangutans after a fulfilling Thanksgiving meal?

3. Chandler’s Restaurant
Feast on a delicious five-course Prix menu along Carlsbad coast this Turkey day. Chandler’s restaurant has a special children’s menu and the wait staff is very family-friendly. You’ll love the fact you can sit inside or outside and enjoy the ocean view (it’s right across the street!)

4. California Bistro Buffet, Hyatt Aviara
Park for free and explore the beautiful view at this California bistro. You’ll feel like you’re on vacation and your little eaters will love the expansive buffet complete with a special half-pint dessert table. Your family will be spoiled with a turkey carving station and seafood buffet.

5. Bobeau, La Mesa
Your little acorn will perk-up at the special menu just for them while you enjoy a down-to-earth Thanksgiving meal. When done eating, kids can head out back and play in the cool school bus and chalk up the walls. You’ll get to eat a more leisurely dinner and delectable dessert.

6. Coastal Kitchen, Hilton Del Mar
You don’t have to come over on the Mayflower to enjoy this locally-sourced (there’s a garden by the restaurant) and harvested buffet. You’ll gobble up the fresh turkey and ham while your little pumpkin eats until stuffed. A nice outside area gives space for little runners.
