Red Tricycle is seeking a Social Media Editor to expand and engage its audience across social platforms through creation and distribution of timely and trending content. This is a full-time, work from home position. The role will partner directly with the Audience Development and Editorial teams to expand Red Tricycle’s reach in the parenting vertical and help families have more fun!


-Manage Red Tricycle’s social media presence across multiple platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.

-Write/produce timely and trending content for social distribution


-Schedule and craft on-brand copy for use across social platforms

-Community management across social platforms including, but not limited to, responding to inquiries and proactive reach out

-Grow social followings, engagement & referral traffic

-Track breaking and trending parenting news using various tools and resources

-Deliver key insights on social and content performance

-Use data to help drive strategy and testing plans across content creation and social

-Stay abreast of emerging social platforms, technologies and best practices


-1+ year experience in social media, content creation or marketing

-Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or related fields preferred

-Strong attention to detail, copy-editing/writing skills and sense of brand voice

-Digitally savvy with an interest in social media and content marketing

-Experience with social publishing and reporting tools and using data to drive decisions and strategy

-Self-motivated and comfortable working independently and collaborating with a remote team

-Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment
