Looking for a way to introduce your young Padawan to the force? A brand new Star Wars YouTube channel for kids is here to help jumpstart the next generation of Star Wars fans.

Disney and Lucasfilm announced they will debut a new animated Star Wars series made just for the youngest fans. Star Wars Galaxy of Adventures will be the first series to launch on the new Star Wars Kids YouTube channel. The animated shorts will feature all of your favorite characters including Princess Leia, Luke Skywalker, Yoda, Han Solo, Chewbacca, R2-D2, C-3PO, Obi-Wan Kenobi and yes—Darth Vader.

“The first six shorts combine original dialogue, music, and sound effects with bold new animations, and fun and educational add-ons designed to help older fans, parents, and other mentors to welcome the kids in their lives to explore the galaxy far, far away,” according to StarWars.com.

The first episode premiered Nov. 30 with more new shorts headed to the channel later in December. Episodes will roll out on a weekly basis starting in 2019.

The new Star Wars Kids YouTube Channel also features episodes of Star Wars Resistance and mini fun facts videos that school kids on everything from the Starfighters to Darth Vader.

Once young fans are hooked, look out for all the new merchandising to follow. Hasbro plans to roll out Star Wars Galaxy of Adventures toys just in time for that last-minute holiday gift in December. You’ll have to shop for them at Walmart where they’ll be a store exclusive until they hit stores nationwide in January 2019.
