So your kiddo is a soccer star? You’ve spent years driving him to and from practice and you’re the first one on the sidelines, cheering him on. Well, Target wants to celebrate youth soccer — with the Target United Cup. As one of the largest recreational soccer tournaments in the country, your pint-sized player might just want to know more about this absolutely awesome idea.

The Target United Cup is coming to 19 cities across the US, starting this fall in Ohio. Not only can you watch a game, but your kids can check out the Target United Cup Village. This on site area, available in select locations, has activities such as a giant soccer pool table, product samples of items that you totally need for your soccer-loving child (such as sunscreen, health snacks and, of course, fabric stain removers) and the chance to meet Target’s Bullseye the dog mascot. Some lucky kids will even get to meet superstar soccer heroes such as Olympic gold medalist Julie Foudy.

Not only is Target sponsoring their United Cup, but they have also made a $14 million commitment to help more kids play soccer. This includes funding for a local soccer grant program as well as a partnership with the US Soccer Foundation, helping to build 100 new spaces for soccer play by the year 2020. Go Target!
