Mt. Rainier Gondola, Enumclaw, Wa

There are oh-so-many reasons families love riding the Mt. Rainier Gondola at Crystal Mountain. In the winter, it’s all about the skiing. But in the summer, our favorite reason is bragging rights, plain and simple. If you stop in for a bite at the Summit House Restaurant, you can stake your claim on eating at the highest spot in the state. And that’s saying something. But whatever your reason for riding to the top, be sure to get in a round of disc golf, hike any of the many trails that branch off from the gondola stop, or even drop in on an interpretive walk to learn more about how the mountain came to be. There’s something for everyone up here!
