That hot summer sun has you reaching for the sprinkler. But before you can turn the hose on, your water babies are begging to hit the sprayground. Because even the coolest sprinklers can’t compete with the cannons, dump buckets and spray nozzles they’ll find there. Wanna know what other awesome splash pads features are out there? Rio De Los Angeles State Park – Los Angeles, Ca

L.A.’s kind of a hot spot for splash parks and spraygrounds. And can you blame them? They do heat well in SoCal. Consider Rio De Los Angeles State Park’s splash pad a hidden gem on the list of many. It was once a railroad facility, but has since been transformed into a beautiful park. Now it’s got great sports fields, a playground and hiking trails with views of the river. And don’t forget the splash pad with its leaky water tower, cannons, sprayers and more. It’s a great place to bring a picnic and enjoy the shady grassy areas on a lazy summer day.
