The idea of drinking your veggies sounds great until you make a concoction that is less than tasty. Well, problem solved! In this power-packed smoothie, pineapple, bananas and oranges are combined with a dose of creaminess and sweetness that covers up about any green taste your kids may not take to. Don’t believe us? Jen Hansard and Jadah Sellner, the brains behind this recipe and Simple Green Smoothies, tested the flavor combo with their own families and the result is nothing but two thumbs up all around.
1 cup spinach
2 cups water
2 oranges, peeled
1 cup chopped pineapple*
1. Blend the spinach and water until smooth.
2. Add the oranges, pineapple, and banana and blend again.
