If you tuned in for the MTV VMAs this week, then you now know there will be a The Hills reboot coming to televisions in 2019. The original reality show has been off the air since 2010, but that hasn’t stopped plenty of the cast originals from returning.

The Hills: New Beginnings will follow the grown-up cast members and their growing families living in Los Angeles. We don’t know much else about the drama that will ensue, but we did get a sneak peek that’s getting our inner teen selves pretty excited.

Now that we’re all caught up, let’s check in with what some of the OC cast members have been up to in the last 8 years. We’re still awaiting confirmation on exactly who will be joining the reboot, but we’re hoping the rest doesn’t stay unwritten for long.

Spencer & Heidi Pratt

The Pratts were among the least favorite cast members on the OG Hills and made sure the show was packed with drama. Through many fallouts and plastic surgeries, the couple stayed true to each other. The eloped during the fourth season of the show, in 2008 and went on to welcome son Gunner Stone in 2017. They are confirmed to rejoin the reboot next year.

Stephanie Pratt

That voice you’re hearing on The Hills: New Beginnings teaser? That would be Stephanie Pratt, and she not only did the voiceover, but the cover of “Unwritten,” too. Stephanie has been busy modeling, acting and writing since the original show ended and has confirmed her return in the reboot.

Whitney Port

Ms. Port joined The Hills as an intern alongside Lauren Conrad and the two stayed friends for the duration of the show. After two season, Whitney left L.A. for her own work on The City, and went on to wed Tim Rosenman in 2015 and welcomed a son, Sonny Sanford, in 2017. She currently runs her own fashion line, Whitney Eve, and has not reportedly signed on to return in the reboot.

Audrina Patridge

Audrina will be rejoining the OG cast after a busy last few years. The show alum spent time on her own spin-off show Audrina and on Dancing with the Stars before wedding husband Corey Bohan in 2016. The couple welcomed daughter Kirra earlier that year. Audrina has since split from her ex and will be returning to the Hills solo.

Justin Brescia

Justin Bobby was best known for Audrina Patridge’s on-again, off-again boyfriend throughout the OG Hills stay. He’s a musician and hairstylist and appeared at the VMAs, so we’re pretty sure he’ll be returning to the reboot in 2019. He’s also launched his own haircare line, BRUSH, in his time away from the show.

Lauren Conrad

LC left The Hills in its fifth season to pursue her fashion design career. Her portfolio currently includes an apparel line at Kohl’s, her own book and tons of blogs. She married her husband William Tell in 2014 and welcomed son Liam in 2017. Lauren reportedly will not be rejoining the new cast of The Hills reboot. Bummer.

Jason Wahler

Best known as LC’s main squeeze during much of The Hills, Jason Whaler had a stint in rehab and has since become committed to healthy living. He is married to wife Ashley and they share a daughter together, Delilah. The couple will be joining the reboot come next year.

Kristin Cavallari

Cavallari joined the last two seasons of the OG Hills and ended up taking the lead after LC left for the final season. She has had several stints on television and has since moved to Nashville where she is focusing on her lifestyle brand, Uncommon James. She is married to husband Jay Cutler; they pair share three children, Camden, Jaxon and Saylor. Due to Kristin’s newest endeavor, her own reality show entitled Very Cavallari, it’s unlikely she will be rejoining the reboot.
