Christmas may be over, and Santa may have already made his way down your chimney with presents galore, but that doesn’t mean the holiday season is over. Oh no. While you may be looking forward to the New Year, Disney is looking forward to next year. That is, to November of 2018. So, what’s so special about November of next year? Well, that’s when Disney’s The Nutcracker and the Four Realms comes out.

You’ve dressed your kids in their finest red velvet holiday gear, bundled them up and toted them along to a day filled with ballet. Yep. The Nutcracker. How can one forget the Sugar Plum Fairy and all the other dancing delights? Of course, you want your child to share in the memory!

Next year, you can experience The Nutcracker in a whole new way. Disney is reimagining the beloved ballet and turning it into a live-action movie. With stars such as Keira Knightley (the Sugar Plum Fairy), Morgan Freeman (Drosselmeyer) and Helen Mirren (Mother Ginger), this is a big budget version of the once-quaint stage production.

This somewhat darker take on what you might remember as twirls and swirls through a candy-coated ballet dream brings Mackenzie Foy as Clara into an adventure of epic proportions. Seriously. Take a look at the trailer and get ready for it — umm, in like, a year.
