Dinner out with kids! What’s the first thing that comes to mind? Little diners excusing themselves right when you start your meal? Asking for the check while it’s still light out? Well, we’ve rounded up 11 theatrical dining destinations that will keep the kids entertained well past dessert and have you feeling like a kid again. Scroll through the slideshow and work up an appetite for fun!

Blue Bayou Restaurant – Anaheim, Ca

This eatery is as iconic as it gets, transporting Disneyland diners to New Orleans (or shall we say “N’awlins”) since 1967. These days, keep an eye patch out for Pirates of the Caribbean passenger boats (yes, they sail by). And listen up, too, as crickets will be chirping and frogs will be croaking as fireflies light up the darkness. The kids will love that feeling of staying up late—and you’ll love the Cajon and Creole cuisine. (It’s also one of Disneyland’s Fantasmic! Dining Packages.)
