If the season ending of This Is Us left you with more questions than answers, you won’t have much longer to wait before you can catch up with the Pearson family again. NBC has just announced the premiere date for This Is Us season four.
Although we finally learned the answers to some burning questions, the season finale of This Us unfurled several new mysteries. Luckily fans won’t have to wait too long before the saga begins again. The new season of This Is Us will hit the small screen on Sep. 24.
NBC recently announced that it was renewing This Is Us for three full seasons, seemingly confirming what show producer Dan Fogelman has hinted, that the show will end after season six. Just like another NBC hit LOST, this fan favorite has an endgame. Series’ showrunner, Isaac Aptaker said in an interview with Deadline, “From day one, Dan came in with his master plan for the big picture stuff of the show and said, ‘I think this is where we end up.’”

We are all BEYOND excited to share the good news that we have been renewed for 3 MORE SEASONS! Obviously that means we have a lot more laughing, crying, healing, growing and more to do together. None of this would be possible without your unwavering support from episode 1 and our entire TIU family is unbelievably grateful. So buckle up, we’re just getting started!! #thisisus
While you’ll have to survive all of summer without your Pearson fix, fall will bring a plentiful dose. As NBC previously revealed, each season will include 18 all-new episodes.
