Close encounters with baby animals are always fun, but when a fawn starts following your toddler around it’s downright adorable, like in the viral video of NFL wide receiver Jarvis Landry’s daughter below.
Twitter user Jordan Zirm shared a video of Cleveland Browns player Landry’s daughter, Joy, making friends with a fawn and it’s easily one of the cutest things you’ve ever seen. Not only does the fawn approach Landry’s daughter and allow her to pet it, the fawn attempts to follow her home in perfect Disney princess fashion. The only thing missing is singing cartoon bird.
The best moment by far is when Joy nonchalantly asks if she can bring the fawn inside the house as if it’s no big deal. Speaking to the Cleveland Plain-Dealer, Landry explained that he was more afraid of the deer than his daughter was, “I went to the garage and when I came out of the garage they were already best friends.”
For those wondering what happened to the fawn, it apparently left, most likely to return to it’s mother. “If he comes back we’ll definitely give him a name for sure,” Landry said.
