Quarantine babies are on the way! If you’re looking for the perfect name, look no further than BabyNames.com.

The online resource has rounded up the most popular names of the year for boys and girls and is ready to share. Of note? “Both Donald and Karen are nowhere on the top 1000 names,” says Jennifer Moss, Founder and CEO of BabyNames.com. So who did take home the top prize?

For girls, the top 10 are:

  1. Amelia
  2. Charlotte
  3. Aurora
  4. Violet
  5. Olivia
  6. Ava
  7. Aria
  8. Luna
  9. Isla
  10. Hazel

The top boy names include:

  1. Oliver
  2. Liam
  3. Theodore
  4. Ethan
  5. Aidan
  6. Benjamin
  7. Declan
  8. Gabriel
  9. Finn
  10. Elijah

BabyNames.com founder goes on to say that 2021 could see a rise in popularity for girl names with a “ph” sound such as Sophia, Ophelia, Josephine, and Persephone. For boys, keep an ear out for Celtic names like Liam, Aidan, Declan, Owen, and Finn.

Moss also believes we’ll be seeing more “Power Names,” which are those that are associated with bold characteristics like Rogue, Maverick, Remington, Blade, Freya and Apollo.  Check out the entire list at babynames.com.
