We’ve all been there. Your kiddo leaves a fave toy behind, and…well, nothing good comes out of it. But in this viral post about Disney World returning a lost toy to its owner, something pretty special happened. Seriously. Check out what happened after the Ramsaran family left Disney, minus their little boy Wes’ Toy Story Slink dog toy.
As it turns out, Disney’s magic is real. When the Ramsaran family went on a trip to Disney World, mom Kelly promised her kiddo a “prize” for being a good listener — all day long. Hey, we all know what a challenge that can be for a young child. So young Wes was given the chance to pick something out. According to Kelly Ramsaran, on her Facebook page, “So he picks out Slinky dog! “Mommy, Buzz and Woody are going to be so happy when they see Slinky dog when we get home!” (He got Buzz and woody from santa).”
The following day the family woke up and went to breakfast, before checking out of the resort. But before leaving, they stopped at the shops. That’s when mom handed Slinky off to dad, as she hit the restroom. With all the fun going on inside the store (reportedly there was plenty of pirate play), dad left poor Slinky behind.
Luckily, a park employee found the dog and sent him back to his rightful owner. The Disney Boardwalk Resort merchandise team also included a note reading, “It seems like Slinky wasn’t ready for his trip to the Boardwalk Resort to end! We found him and some old friends playing around the resort and we hope you don’t mind but they wanted to join Slinky on his journey home.”
The Disney staff members also sent along pics of Slinky playing at the park and a few new toys, including Woody and a Bucket O Soldiers.
