A little girl in Colorado isn’t scared of monsters in her home anymore now that a local police officer agreed to do a full “monster sweep” at her request.
Four-year-old Sidney Fahrenbruch was afraid there might be monsters lurking in her new home in Longmont, Colorado, according to her local Fox News station. An aspiring police officer, she knew she had to call in the professionals.
“Well, cause I heard sounds when people weren’t up,” she told the news station.
Sidney had met officer David Bonday at a community barbecue earlier in the month, so when she started hearing scary noises in her home at night, she asked him to come over and do the full under-the-bed and inside-the-closets check.
After a full sweep, Bonday was happy to declare the home monster-free.
“It’s just amazing the confidence he’s given her,” Sidney’s mother told the station. “We’re truly grateful to live in a town where the police officer will pay a kid any attention.”
