No trip to Hogsmeade would be complete without a syrupy sweet mug of Butterbeer. But what about when it’s a balmy 100 degrees? You can enjoy your favorite magical treat on a hot day as an icy frozen dessert and now we know just where to get Butterbeer-flavored ice cream.
The Wizarding World of Harry Potter has just unveiled a delicious new treat for visitors at Universal Studios Hollywood. The park is now scooping up Butterbeer-flavored ice cream. If there’s one thing that Muggles and Wizards can agree on, it’s that this is an awesome idea. This new selection joins the park’s other tasty Butterbeer flavored offerings, like frozen and hot Butterbeer and Butterbeer Potted Cream.
The ice cream is now available at all Butterbeer Carts in Hogsmeade and at The Three Broomsticks. The best part is this new addition will be a permanent menu item, so if you can’t make a trip before summer is out, that sweet scoop will still be waiting for you. While this is the only place you can enjoy the new ice cream, the Orlando Wizarding World is now dishing up a soft-serve version.
If you just can’t wait for a park visit, head to your local grocery store and search the frozen aisle for Yuengling Ice Cream, a Pennsylvania-based company that released a Butterbeer flavor in select stores across the country last year.
