This is no joke. You can now play Where’s Waldo on Google Maps for April Fool’s Day. Okay, so April Fool’s Day has come and gone. But you can ‘find’ Waldo through the rest of this week. So how do you search for Waldo on Google Maps? Read on for the must-know details.

So were the heck is Waldo anyway? Sure, he’s on the pages of your kiddo’s favorite books. But he’s also in your phone, on your computer and apparently traveling around the glove. Yep. That Waldo, he’s a world traveler and now you can spot him by updating your Android or iOS Goggle Maps app. Oh, and you can also now access the Waldo-esque fun online at

When you open the app (or go online) you’ll see Waldo waving at you. Press “play” to start searching. Waldo, along with Wenda, Woof, Wizard, Whitebeard and Odlaw are going just about everywhere. And your kiddo will totally enjoy searching the GPS map world for them.
