This past summer millions of Americans cashed in on the Amazon credit they received from a class action lawsuit stemming from overpriced e-books. If you remembered to cash in your credit before the June 2017 expiration date, then you might be coming into some more Amazon credit right now.
According to the terms of the settlement as mandated by the court, those Amazon customers who qualified for a credit and used it before it expired on June 24, 2017, are now eligible to receive an additional credit to their accounts. This credit is paid for by Apple and should be calculated and applied to your account automatically. Amazon notified users by email of the credit, but in case you missed the notice, you’ll want to check your Amazon account asap. You can also look up your credit balance here.
This new credit is set to expire on April 20, 2018, but with the holidays right around the corner every penny counts, so you’ll probably want to cash it in soon. The credit will automatically be applied when you make a purchase and show up as a gift card payment. You can check out the full terms and conditions of the settlement here.
