It’s the most wonderful time of the year, when you try to hide all those Amazon boxes from your kids as you finish up your holiday shopping. You’re definitely not the only one Amazon Prime-ing your life this year. The online mega-retailer recently announced the Best of Prime 2018—just in case you’re curious about what other super-shoppers (like yourself) are buying!
According to Cem Sibay, Vice President, Amazon Prime. “Prime members worldwide ordered more than two billion products for one-day delivery or faster in the last year, which is pretty amazing.” Among the 2 billion items bought this year, what was the most-purchased item? Drumroll please…

Amazon’s Fire TV Stick was the bestselling Amazon Prime item of the year. But, of course, that’s not the only popular electronics item. Other winners include the Panasonic ErgoFit In-Ear Earbuds Headphones, Fujifilm Instax Mini 9 Instant Camera and Tile Mate Bluetooth Tracker.
Electronics weren’t the only top seller on Amazon this year. Prime parents (or at least customers who bought for kiddos) were majorly into the Nerf N-Strike Elite Strongarm Blaster, L.O.L. Surprise! Bigger Surprise and Play-Doh Modeling Compound 10-Pack.
If you’re a Prime Video fan (and really who isn’t?), the top two binge-watched Prime Original series were Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan starring John Krasinski as the lead, and Homecoming, starring Julia Roberts.
And let’s not forget about Whole Foods. Now that Whole Foods Market is part of Amazon, Prime members get some pretty perfect perks. Out of all the organic awesomeness offered in 2018, Prime customers bought more apples than any other Whole Foods item. According to Amazon, that’s enough to bake 350,000 pies!
