Amazon Prime is kind of a magical, mystical feature that keeps on giving, and giving and then giving some more. Not only can you still order from your family’s wish list and get the goods by Christmas (order by Fri., Dec. 22 with free two-day shipping and no minimum purchase; order by Sat., Dec. 23 with free one-day shipping on a $35 or more purchase; or order by Sun., Dec. 24 with free same-day delivery on a $35 or more purchase), but you can also get these sort of surprising perks during the rest of the year!

Two-hour alcohol delivery: Yep. In select cities you can get your drink on, or at least delivered, between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m., Monday through Saturday. Unlike many of the other Prime services, this one does come with a delivery fee.

Prime video: If you don’t want the full-on Prime membership, you can still get the Video perks. For a fee (which is currently $8.99/month) you get the Video service. But this isn’t a secret, cheaper backdoor method of getting Prime. You won’t be eligible for other Amazon Prime benefits and there’s no free two-day shipping.

Your delivery is guaranteed: With Amazon’s A-to-Z policy you’re guaranteed that your item arrives on time and in the condition you purchased it in. Technically, this isn’t just a Prime perk. This awesome extra actually applies to all Marketplace purchases.

Discount code: Try typing the code “&pct-off=(percentage range)” after the URL of your search. Add whatever price percentage off range you want! Again, technically this isn’t just a Prime thing.

Free delivery: Yeah, yeah. You know about the free two-day delivery. But what if you want your item now? Amazon Prime offers free two-hour (yes, hour) delivery on over 10,000 items.

Get food now: With Amazon Restaurants you can get food delivered from popular local restaurants. Yum!

Read it first: Amazon First Reads allows you early access to a new book download once a month. Oh, and it’s free.

Share your account: Membership sharing lets you create an Amazon Household account. This means that you can share some Prime benefits with another adult who is living in your home.
