Just Opened: DC Super Friends

Take your favorite heroes (and sometimes villains) to the just-opened DC Super Friends area for pint-sized adventures with a familiar cast, including Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, the Joker, and more. The bouncing drop tower, flying jets and helicopters, and junior coaster are just the right size and speed for Six Flags’ youngest visitors without sacrificing fun, excitement, or thrills.

Just Renovated: Bugs Bunny Boomtown

In addition to the newly created DC Super Friends area for the smaller set, Six Flags has recently expanded and re-themed the former children’s area to Bugs Bunny Boomtown, featuring seven attractions, including an interactive water ride, twisting swings, flying ships, a junior Ferris wheel, a climbing playground, a truck-driving adventure, and an up-and-down drop tower.

Don’t Miss: Paradise Island at Hurricane Harbor

If you’re planning to visit Six Flags in the summer, be sure to bring your swimsuit for a visit to Paradise Island’s interactive water playground—including three giant water-dumping towers, six water slides for all ages and adventure levels, and dozens of water gadgets, climbing nets, and water blasters. While it’s not a new feature, Paradise Island is a must-visit when hitting the park, and is included in your general park admission price.

Don’t Forget: Tips for Your Trip

No one has to tell you that if it’s summertime in Atlanta, you’re going to be hot. And if you plan on hitting Six Flags—including the brand new DC Super Friends area and Bugs Bunny Boomtown—expect to spend some serious time in the queue with little to no shade. So be sure to pack your sunscreen, your hats, and something to fan yourself with. While the park does not allow outside food or beverages, you can usually find special deals on bottled water in the DC Super Friends concession areas. We recommend heading to the DC Super Friends area and Boomtown first, then ducking into the shade or into the AC for lunch, followed by some water play in Paradise Island.
