Ghost Train Park – Lima, Peru

When Lima city’s plans for a railway fell through, these abandoned concrete columns and passways became quite an eyesore to pedestrians. Spanish architecture firm, Basurama, tackled this space with an eco-friendly eye and used tires, old car parts and ropes to turn “trash” into a treasured play land of tire swings and climbing structures.
