The Fashion Class

The Fashion Class is a children’s sewing studio specializing in the most fabulous and fashionable classes, camps and birthday parties for kids and teens. Students learn to use a sewing machine to design and sew real, wearable clothing.

Courses run after school and on weekends and end with a professional fashion show where students sashay down the runway in their own creations. The best part is, all supplies are included so there is no extra work (or extra fees) for mom and dad!

Fashion camps run for all school breaks (like election day and spring break) and throughout the summer. Fashion campers not only sew, they illustrate fashion, create jewellry and go on fashionable field trips to meet designers!

Birthday parties at The Fashion Class are super fun! Party guests can sew a skirt, dress, pillow or even PJ shorts. Or we can put on a full fashion show complete with hair, makeup, stylish clothing and accessories. Once guests are ready for their show we turn the music up and the spotlights on so the birthday girl and friends can live out their fashionista dreams.

High Museum of Art

Nestled in the heart of Atlanta’s Midtown, the High Museum of Art is home to world-class art, architecture, and creativity in the Southeast. With a collection of renowned works, new special exhibitions, and engaging programs, there’s always something exciting waiting for you here.

The High offers special programs for all ages, including families and children. Visit on the second Sunday of every month from 12 noon to 5 p.m. for free admission and special family-friendly programs! We also offer Toddler Thursdays every week which feature toddler gallery tours, art making, and story times.

Plus, the High offers summer art camp for children in grades 1 through 8! Spots are still available, register your child today for a week at the High. Your child will learn about two of the most famous architects in the world; the illustrator known for beloved characters Winnie-the-Pooh, Tigger, and Eeyore; self-taught artists who have transformed the definition of art in America, and more.

Area Kids Club

What is AREA KIDS CLUB and what do we offer?

OPEN PLAY- We have a water table, building blocks, magnetic blocks, books and a rotating set of toys. We also have lots of fun activities during the day: we make our own playdough, finger paint and have a raw food experiences with kids. Come play anytime from 9:30am – 6pm.

MAKER’S CLUB- After school, Area Kids Club shifts its focus to school-aged children. Under the guidance of an experienced and fearless club leader, kids can break blocks in Minecraft, build their own machines with Lego Robotics, tinker with electronics using littleBits. Time: 3:30pm-6pm

CHILDCARE for YOGA CLASSES at Area Yoga (court St.)- Area Kids Club and AREA YOGA work together to create a space where you can take a yoga class for yourself while knowing that your kid is having fun at our club.

MAKER’S CAMP- a camp for everyone!!! AGES 4-11.Activities: Minecraft, Lego Robotics, Chess, Park Activities, Crafts, Homemade Playdough, Music, Dancing and more.

BIRTHDAY PARTIES- We rent our space for Custom Birthday Parties.

Emerald City Pirates

“Our 90-minute Family Treasure Cruises occur during the day–before 5pm. Ideal for birthday celebrations, they are interactive pirate ship cruises for all ages with a focus on kids. The cruises are aboard our brand-new, 50-foot Coast Guard inspected pirate ship, Queen Anne’s Revenge. You’ll get a pirate vest to wear during the cruise. You’ll be entertained by our band of merry pirates and our state-of-the-art sound system. Learn to talk and act like pirates. Children will each receive one toy from the ship’s treasure chest.

The climax of the trip is when we fire the ship’s water cannons at our rogue pirate who has been known to make off with our loot! All pirates get certificates at the end of the voyage. We typically cruise waters that are calm and scenic. Most of our cruises occur on Lake Union which offers a spectacular view of the Seattle skyline and Space Needle. Occasionally we pick passengers up in different locations. Pay close attention to the pickup location for the cruise you are booking.

Hands On Children’s Museum

Since its founding in 1987, Hands On has evolved from a fledgling museum without walls to the premier provider of hands-on science and art education in Southwest Washington. With 150 exhibits and a half-acre Outdoor Discovery Center, families can learn and discover together for hours. The museum is perfect for families with children ages birth to 10. Located along the Hudson River, Chelsea Piers is a 28-acre sports village that offers NYC’s most dynamic and flexible summer camp programs.

For the past 23 summers, campers enjoyed world-class facilities, expert instruction and the most exciting sports curriculum available in NYC! Full-day camps include Gymnastics, Sports Academy, Elite Soccer, Basketball, Golf, Performance Golf, Ice Hockey, Acceleration Hockey, Ice Skating, Ninja + Parkour and Urban Adventure for teens. The Butterfly Joint

“The Butterfly Joint is a woodworking and design studio for children of all ages (and adult classes are offered as well!). When students walk through the doors of the Butterfly Joint, they are transported into a woodworking studio designed just for them. They clock in with their very own punch cards, put on their work aprons, and get started on their projects after hearing the sound of the steam whistle.

The Butterfly Joint focuses on teaching children traditional joinery techniques—he use of dovetails, box joints and loose tenons in place of screws and nails. Lead by Danny Montoya, a credentialed early-childhood educator with more than a decade of experience in the classroom, The Butterfly Joint offers classes, camps, birthday parties, workshops and activities that instill the importance of focus, problem-solving, resilience, determination and responsibility through the timeless art of woodworking.

The Butterfly Joint also has a retail component, both in-store and online, offering take-home projects, completed pieces perfect for gifting and specialty items such as child-sized aprons, work gloves and age-appropriate tools. We hope you can come for a visit!”
