You spent the entire winter wrapped in “Frozen” hysteria. Now that things are thawing out, are you still not ready to let it go? Yeah, we aren’t either — which is why we were so excited hear about the “Frozen”-themed summer camps at Baby Take a Bow.

The Roscoe Village and Winnetka dance studios are offering seven weeks of Disney camps that combine movement, crafts, movies and story time. Along with four weeks of “Frozen” fun, there are Despicable Me, The Little Mermaid, Tangled and Sofia the First camps.

Baby Take a Bow is known for its preschool- and kindergarten-friendly ballet classes. The Disney summer camps — open to ages three to six — are largely dance-based, with a lot of cute surprises thrown in. Ballet teachings correspond with each camp’s theme (think graceful, princess-like arabesques for Sofia the First). Some teachers also mix in a bit of hip-hop. The Despicable Me camp, for example, is billed as a “Minion Dance Party” and kids will bust a move to Pharrell Williams’ “Happy.”

Each camp starts with story time and dance, then kids dive into a craft project inspired by their Disney movie. Imagine making an Olaf snow globe, icicle wand, Elsa necklace and snowflakes to decorate the studio. For the Little Mermaid camp, kids will get busy making fish and sea creatures, and stringing shell necklaces. When it’s Tangled time, everyone creates lanterns, and a specialty hair braider will style hair and decorate it with flowers.

After lunch (which is BYO), it’s movie time. Watch a little bit of the featured flick every day. Then it’s on to more dance, with crafts and games built in. Another story tied into the weekly theme caps each day before campers go home to have sweet Disney dreams. Each Friday is parent observation day, when campers show off what they learned.
