Kids love construction projects. Well, how about a few completed projects that look like they stepped out of a fairy tale, were crafted out of 20 years worth of junk, or seemed to be swaying to the music? We found some of the coolest (and wackiest) architectural designs out there, so flip through the gallery below and be sure to share your favorites with budding builders!

Mr. Roboto – Bangkok, Thailand

This building in Bangkok houses the United Overseas Bank, is one of the last examples of modern architecture in Thailand and, in an ode to the computer-boom era of the 1980’s, was built to represent the computerization of banking. The eyes, antenna and other robot parts actually contribute to the building’s functions, but for us it’s all about the thrill that there’s a real, giant robot building out there in the world.
