Before skateboards and electric, pay-as-you-go scooters, there were roller skates. Go a little bit retro by lacing up some skates and taking a spin around the areas raddest rinks for a bit of free-wheeling fun that the whole family can enjoy.

Cavelier Family Skate
This rink, which has been on a roll since 1997, knows that you’re not really a proper skate rink if you don’t offer theme nights. From $1 Wednesdays to family night, there’s something for everyone. Sporty types might be interested in speed skating team or roller derby, which is offered weekly. And, word on the street is that Cavelier is one of the best places in town to throw a kid party.
