The Lion King is coming! Okay, so The Lion King has been here — for many, many years. But a live-action version of the Disney favorite is set for release on July 19, 2019. Yeah, that’s a long way away. So in the meanwhile, you can start imagining what the epic reboot will look like. Oh, and if you want to fuel your imagination, Disney recently released the all-star cast. Check out the who’s who of The Lion King!

Directed by Jon Favreau, it’s rumored that the newest version of The Lion King is a new take on what has become a classic kids’ movie. Yes, you’ll see your favorite Lion King friends. But maybe in a bit of a different light (also featuring what Disney calls “pioneering filmmaking techniques”).

Who are the stars of this live-action film? The movie’s cast features Beyoncé as Nala, Donald Glover as Simba, James Earl Jones as Mufasa, Chiwetel Ejiofor as Scar, Alfre Woodard as Sarabi, John Oliver as Zazu, John Kani as Rafiki, Seth Rogan as Pumbaa, Billy Eichner as Timon, Florence Kasumba as Shenzi, Eric Andre as Azizi the hyena, Keegan-Michael Key as Kamari the hyena, JD McCrary as the young Simba and Shahadi Wright Joseph as the young Nala.
