LEGOs and the beach don’t exactly seem like a perfect match, unless you feel like cleaning sand out of the plastic crevices for years to come. Once you get a look at this unbelievable LEGO roller coaster built on the beach, however, you might reconsider.

If you haven’t already, make sure you watch the full video to the end, when the creators, 5MadMovieMakers, attach a GoPro and you’ll feel like you’re actually getting a ride on the miniature train yourself as it careens through the sandy track. The entire set-up of seashell castles and sand tunnels was built by a group of friends on the Outer Banks in North Carolina. Despite speeding across the tracks like a bullet train, it is not battery-powered and relies solely on gravity to make it move.

While the entire set up is stunning, what’s truly inspiring about the LEGO master building in this video is that given some patience and the right pieces, you could potentially build it yourself on a smaller scale for your family’s next beach excursion.
