You’ve been waiting for it. Scratch that. Your kiddos have been waiting for it. Kristen Bell’s Frozen sequel update on The Ellen DeGeneres Show may not have included any major spoilers, but it’s enough to get fans of the first film super-ready for part two. So what exactly did the voice of Anna (in other words, Bell) have to say?
Bell told DeGeneres, “You know I can’t say a lot because Disney has people everywhere, but I have recorded the movie. There will be edits before it’s finished.” The actress went on to add, “I know the songs. I know the story. It’s very good. I can’t say much more than that.”

Nothing is more exciting than getting back in the booth with this incredible team. Chris Buck, Jennifer Lee, Peter Del Vecho, Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Bobby Lopez along with John Lasseter and the amazing people at @disneyanimation have created a story that carries on the incredible legacy of the original #Frozen and continues to build and expand on the characters and themes in new and exciting ways. Unfortunately, that’s all I can tell you right now. But, rest assured #Frozen2 is on the way and damn is it going to be special. 11.27.19
This isn’t the first time a Frozen cast member has gone public about the sequel. Josh Gad, the voice behind Olaf, posted on Instagram (last fall), “Nothing is more exciting than getting back in the booth with this incredible team.” Gad also posted that the team behind Frozen and Disney Animation Studios, “have created a story that carries on the incredible legacy of the original #Frozen and continues to build and expand on the characters and themes in new and exciting ways.”
But like Bell, Gad didn’t go into detail about what the sequel actually has in-store for the fans. That means we’ll all have to wait. Frozen 2 isn’t set to debut until November—of 2019/
