The Family Theater party sounds like it would be a hit with acting games and partying with a gaily-costumed fairytale character, birthday cake and punch. Then enjoy one of Santa Monica Playhouse’s award-winning Family Theatre musicals in which the birthday child gets to make a guest appearance on stage and receive a specially autographed gift as the entire audience sings “Happy Birthday!”

Your Home Sweet Home
As the saying goes, ‘there’s no place like home.’ Often times the best birthday parties are thrown in the comforts of a child’s own surroundings with close friends and family on the guest list! If your babe is turning one, festivities thrown on a grand scale may be overwhelming, so sticking with the familiar backdrop of your home or a favorite park will help ensure that the guest of honor has a wonderful time.
