This new-to-the-scene Hermosa Beach boutique is stocked to the brim with gently-used brand-name clothing, shoes, books, toys, and other baby and kid gear for kids ages 0 to 12. You won’t find run-of-the-mill Carter’s clothes here; instead, racks are filled with apparel by upscale brands like Mini Boden, Tea Collection, Splendid, and Misha Lulu. Got stuff to sell? Petite Posh will trade your gently-used kid apparel and gear; choose between getting 30% cash the retail value of your items, or 40% in store credit.

Beach-going moms in search of great deals are sure to frequent this Sepulveda Boulevard store that is packed with like-new clothing and toys (as well as some strollers and furniture items) for kids ages 0-12. Clothing is arranged by size and gender, so it’s easy to find the right fit for your growing kiddo. Got clothes or gear to unload? You can sell your pristine-condition items to the store for cash or store credit—just be forewarned that they’re pretty picky about what they’ll accept (but will donate any unaccepted items to charity for you, if you’d like). Sample racks in the back showcase local designers and are always worth a look. This store is a great family destination no matter where in town you live, as kids love to play while parents shop, and when you’re ready to leave, this block is chock full of kid-friendly fun from Swork Coffee to Bubble Cuts, Peekaboo Playland to the Oinkster. But before leaving the store, find out about their fun classes for kids, and be sure to ask about the upcoming schedule of concerts for The Hollow Trees; Green Bean owner Traci is a member of the band. They offer 40% of resale in store credit or 30% in cash for items you bring in, in sizes 18 months to youth size 8. Baby gear is also accepted on consignment.

If you’re looking for the mother of all consignment sales, LA Kids Consignment is the largest in the Los Angeles vicinity. You can buy and sell gently used children’s items ranging from ages infancy through pre-teen. Thousands of items are available at these gigantic sales for much less than you would pay for retail. Sign up to sell your kids outgrown clothing and gear, and earn money from the sale. Here’s another handy tip: volunteers get into the private pre-sales early. Or simply show up to shop all of the amazing deals. There are three sales coming up in the fall of 2016 in the San Fernando Valley, Pasadena, and Torrance.
