1. A One-of-a-Kind Family Experience

SlimeFest is like no other festival in the world. It's part music festival, part playland and part...slime! And unlike other grown-up festivals where there's a kid's zone, the entire festival is a kid's zone. But we promise mom and dad will be anything but bored—this festival is made for kids-at-heart, too. And though SlimeFest has happened in other parts of the world (South Africa, Australia, Italy, UK and Spain) this is the first SlimeFest in the U.S. so you can make a little history while having fun!

2. The Music

Nickelodeon SlimeFest features live performances by Grammy-winning artist, DJ and producer Zedd; chart-topper Liam Payne; multi-platinum artist Flo Rida and Lip Sync Battle Shorties and social media star JoJo Siwa!

3. The Stars

An all-star line up for Nick fans everywhere, kids will have the chance to meet and greet their favorite Nick stars! Appearances will include Kel Mitchell and Benjamin Flores Jr. (Game Shakers), Riele Downs and Ella Anderson (Henry Danger), Breanna Yde (School of Rock), and Daniella Perkins and Owen Joyner (Knight Squad).

4. The Slime

Stop by a slime station, play with slime, get slimed...or stay dry and climb, bounce and create in one of the many activity stations, including Nickelodeon walk-abouts. There will be no shortage of Nickelodeon's signature brand of fun (and lots of green slime).

5. The Bonus Material

Snag some killer Nickelodeon gear at the merchant area,  fuel up on beverages and concessions in the food court, and then be ready to keep on rocking! This festival will pretty much guarantee they will sleep through the night—and because it ends at a reasonable hour you can have them fed and in bed just like it's a school night (well, sorta). You'll also find water bottle refill stations throughout the festival and giveaways galore.

6. Location, Location, Location

SlimeFest will be held this year on June 9 & 10, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., at Huntington Bank Pavilion at Northerly Island, Chicago. So you can goof off all day with the gorgeous Chicago skyline as your backdrop.
